Preserving Ancient Wisdom
The Council of Indian Medicine, Haryana was established in 1968 under the Haryana State Council of Indian Medicine Act, 1968. We are committed to preserving and promoting the ancient systems of Indian medicine – Ayurveda, Unani, and other traditional healing practices.
Our Heritage
Haryana is a divine land of sages and saints who scripted Vedas on the banks of sacred river Saraswati. Here, King Kuru sowed the seeds of virtues and the epic battle of Mahabharata was fought for righteousness.
Our Mission
To regulate and promote the practice of Indian medicine systems, ensure quality education, and protect public health through proper registration and monitoring of practitioners.
The Act of 1963
Operating under The Haryana Ayurvedic and Unani Practitioners Act, 1963, we maintain strict regulatory standards while supporting the growth of traditional medicine.
Our Vision
To make traditional Indian medicine systems accessible to all citizens while maintaining the highest standards of practice and education.
